Mortar (1) - Copper
55 years ago, we bought this special mortar and pestle in Greece, from a Christian Turk who had to flee from Turkey to Greece, after WW I, together with thousands of Orthodox compatriots. It is therefore not impossible that the mortar is originally from Turkey and it may be much older than the beginning of 1900. This mortar is beautiful because of its simplicity with simple engraving. Weight of the mortar 1. 5 kg.
