Ladies' cocktail watches typically hide the dial behind a hinged cover, as it was considered rude for a proper lady to look at the time. This style was still going strong in the 1960s. The Milanese mesh bracelet appears seamless, but there is a hidden cover that exposes the dial. The Movado movement, case construction and bracelet are all top quality, as one would expect of this brand.
Condition: Dial is in excellent condition, with light discoloration from age. The case is excellent, with some scratches. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in excellent condition.
