Euthrope Moyet was a wine grower and collector of old brandies who set up his business making cognacs in St Sulpice in what is today known as the Borderies cru. It is the opinion of many best cognac experts and connoisseurs that Cognac Moyet’s cellars contain the best cognac in the world. Cognac Moyet refuses to use generic cognac marketing names for its product range and name each of their cognacs after its vineyard of origin: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Fine Champagne, Borderies, Fins Bois. Très Vieille Fine Champagne single vineyard cognac. Unique lot of 1570 bottles from the barrel n° 8. Golden clear amber-coloured, souple and melted, with a scent of underwood, and a final taste of light rancio. The eaux-de-vie entering this batch are from the beginning of the XXth century to the late thirties. Italian import: Soc. Ercole Brovelli (Milano) Please note the damage to the capsule; the bottle remains originally sealed. Very rare and only few bottles still available .
