Composed of 18 strands of sapphire beads ap. 3.0 to 2.5 mm., completed by a bow clasp atop a cluster of 14 oval and round cabochon sapphires ap. 26.25 cts., cinched and accented by 44 round and single-cut diamonds ap. 1.30 cts., circa 1940, clasp signed Yard, clasp fitting detachable, ap. 23 dwts. Length 8 1/2 inches, adjustable.
With AGL report no. CS 68527 stating that the cabochon sapphires are Burma (Myanmar) origin, with no gemological evidence of heat or clarity enhancement.
