Muonionalusta Meteorite "Monolith" Iron, IVA Northern Sweden - (67° 48'N, 23° 6'E) Found: 1906 This unique "monolith" is made out of Muonionalusta Meteorite and has been expertly etched to reveal an intense Widmanstätten pattern, giving this artistic offering a spectacular appearance. Several, minor inclusions augment the already phenomenal patterning that covers five separate surfaces. The exterior is complex and rocky, with a silvery, metallic coloration. This solid and blocky form weighs 1,167 grams, and the architecturally appealing piece stands nicely on its own. The edge has a few minimal rust spots. Overall Measurements: 4.61 x 2.32 x 1.76 inches (11.71 x 5.90 x 4.47 cm), weighs 1,167 grams [Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
