NAPOLEON III BOULLE PARQUETRY CAVE A LIQEUR
French, second half 19th century. Bronze mounted painted, brass Boulle inlay, and parquetry cave a liqueur, having a removable tray fitted with 4 Baccarat type colorless glass and gilt decanters and sixteen matching liquor glasses, apparently unmarked.
Approximate dimensions: case h. 11", w. 13.5", d. 10.5".
Condition: Some cracks to enamel decoration, minor scattered losses to parquetry, key is present - does not engage the lock, stable cracks to the back of the swing-out doors, interior with some scratches/imperfections to finish, joint separation to interior tray with brad extended, marks to the interior bottom where the feet of the tray rest - not visible when the tray is is in place, no apparent chips, cracks, or restorations to the glass elements - gilding is strong, case is structurally sound.
