Collection of nine miniature portraits of beauties comprising, four oval oil on bone portraits, three with mother of pearl mats (largest 7.75", w. 5.75"), one circular oil on bone portrait mounted in an oval gilt bronze box (h. 1.25", w. 3", d. 2.25"), an oval oil on copper portrait of Marie Antoinette a la rose modeled in part after Elisabeth Louise Vigee-Lebrun (French, 1755-1855) (h. 6.75", w. 4.5"), an unframed oil on porcelain portrait after Angelo Asti, (Italian / French, 1847-1903), 'Epanouissement' or 'Flourising' (h. 6", w. 4"), Marshall Field oval oil on porcelain of a beauty with daisies in a French frame (h. 4", w. 3.25"), and a circular oil on porcelain portrait mounted in a gilt bronze box (h. 1.5", dia. 3.5"), all except the unframed portrait signed.
