Nobuyoshi Araki became famous for “A Voyage Sentimental” (1971), a series of photos depicting his wife on their honeymoon. His work focused on eroticism and bondage practices typical of Japanese erotic culture. His famous Polaroids are intentionally intimate shots, whose intent is to show a private and secret dimension.
