early 20th century, the inset shaped, rectangular top with projecting canted corners, above a conforming case fitted with a musical and scrolling foliate-carved frieze over two glazed cupboard doors, the sides also glazed, raised on toupie feet.

Provenance: Estate of Mahin Forrest, Houston, Texas.
Condition Report: **In structurally sturdy condition. The right side glass is cracked at its midpoint. The marble top is fine with no damage or repairs. There is wear to the gilding and finish primarily along the upper gadrooned edge surrounding the marble. Minor chips and small losses to the carving consistent with age and use. Has a beautiful overall patina.
