late 19th century, the banded top with an inset leather blotter, the front fitted with a pair of drawers and raised on slender, tapering square legs with brass caps.

Condition Report: **In good "as found" condition, exhibiting a number of mars, abrasions and past repairs, as well as shrinkage, to create a nice, somewhat distressed patina.
The legs are tight and the table is sturdy and functional.
There are shrinkage tears in the tooled leather top. It has now been laid back down. Other scattered wear and mars to the top.
There are a number of veneer losses to the vertical edge of the table top, as well as some areas of filler at past losses.
Drawer locks are present. Two keys are present, one of which is functional on a lock. One drawer is missing its cast bronze escutcheon.
