19th century French dore and patinated bronze figural mantel clock, depicting a seated Roman soldier clenching a scroll and gesturing over an ormolu and bronze dial, on sculptural relief ground and a rectangular gilt base with trumpet and laurel relief on scroll feet, marked: "Pons, Medaille d'Or, 1827". 21" H x 15" W x 5" D.
