A Continental Neoclassical style 800 silver mounted mother of pearl desk timepiece
probably Swiss
late 19th/early 20th century
The circular enamel dial with visual escapement and slow/fast, lever.
height 5 1/2in (14cm); width 2 3/8in (6cm)
Provenance: Property from the Estate of Ruth Harvey, Bel Air, California.
Condition Report: Marked to underside 800 Deposee and with other illegible marks. Case in good overall condition. General light marks, scratches rubbing, tarnishing and wear commensurate with age. Spidering cracking to dial. Countwheel moves freely but movement not currently maintaining power. Working condition not guaranteed.
