Large netsuke with dark patina depicting a craftsman with a child at his side. On the whole it appears to be in very good condition, with minimal veining consistent with its age. A Japanese item from the Meiji period. The item was made prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations regarding the sale of ivory.
