C. 4th century BC A fine red-figured Lekanis with the lid finely decorated with two elegant profiles of Lady’s of Fashion with a palmette panel between. The Lady’s of Fashion are each wearing a necklace, earring and stephane, with their hair bound in a sakkos. The knopped finial decorated with a rosette. It is said that these were used for conserving jewellery by the ancients, but also some examples were found with a fat contenance that helt a red pigment.
