But i can't confirm this. Thats why i offer this bow for a low price. August Rau was a very accomplished German maker who trained with Nürnberger, Knopf and Weichold before becoming independent. This violin bow plays very well. But is in need of a rehair. The parts of the bow are quality and beautifully finished. Beautiful bow for an affordable price for such a master bow.
