Acquired at the above by the present owner

CONDITION
Unframed, the painting has been trimmed and relined. The verso with visible repairs and patching. The recto with scattered visible retouching, most notably to the left edge, the foliage, the wall beneath the open parasol. Craquelure visible to the shaded and dark areas of the canvas. Puncture lower right. Inspected under UV light shows small scattered areas of retouching. Uneven varnish and large opaque swathes of varnish.
