Condition Report: Overall very good original untouched condition. The canvas is original and has not been lined. It is also likely the original stretcher. The paint layer shows a natural craquelure overall, although there is no lifting. Paint layer likely retains its original varnish coat which has yellowed. Ultraviolet black light examination reveals no restoration or repairs. Contained in a period carved gilt wood Newcomb Macklin style frame in average condition.
