About the artist: Born July 16, 1921 in Yekaterinoslav (now Dnepropetrovsk). He studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art School (1937 - 1941), graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1954). Teachers by profession - M. Panin, S. Grigoriev, V. Kostetsky. He worked in the field of easel painting. Member of the CPSU. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He was awarded the Orders of the Patriotic War of the 1st and 2nd degrees, the Red Star and medals. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1957, all-Union since 1961, personal - Dnepropetrovsk, 1960, Kiev, 1962. Major works: portrait of the Honored Art Worker of the Ukrainian SSR M. Panin (1957); "By the Sea" (1961); "Song of the Kobzar" (1964); "Autumn" (1965); "On the Road" (1968) and others. The works are kept: art museums in Dnepropetrovsk, Kiev, Chernigov, Donetsk, Kamenets-Podolsk, Nikolaev, Zhitomir, Sevastopol, Kherson, T.G. Shevchenko in Kanev, private collections in Ukraine and abroad. He died on June 22, 2009.
