Ancient zoomorphic box - Erawan three-headed elephant. Thailand - Late 19th/early 20th century. Lacquered wood Size: 22x 16. 5x 12cm. Weight: 852g. Some use marks. Airavata (Erawan in Thai) is the king of celestial elephants and the vehicle of the god Indra. This white elephant is represented with several heads (one, three or thirty-three) , as many trumpets and several pairs of tusks. Registered shipment with insurance and track & trace.
