Held in a gilded composition bolection frame, late 20th century. The frame with some wear to the corners and back edges. The canvas has not been re-lined and the wooden stretcher with single vertical cross brace is the original. The reverse of the canvas with inscription and some scattered paint marks along the upper section and edges. Remains of old applied paper label to the reverse lower right. The salvage is ragged generally and trimmed on the right-hand side. The canvas is taught and subject to some very minor surface scuffs to the paint surface. Otherwise in very good original condition
