Signed by Laurence J. Gomme at the end of his Biographical Note. Spencer Kellogg Jr. was the son of wealthy linseed oilman and philanthropist Spencer Kellogg Sr. Influenced by the arts & crafts movement and endowed with the money to follow his interests, he acquired the hand press of William Morris. Although short-lived, The Aries Press produced several lovely volumes worthy of the tools they were produced with.
Condition Report: Rubbing to edges and corners; binding cracked internally; about very good overall.
