Opel - Motoclub T - 500 cc - 1930

Adam Opel’s company made cars and motorcycles. At the Berlin Automobile and Motorcycle show in 1928 Opel unveiled this extravagant looking machine. Frame, front suspension, tank, saddle and handlebars were all special and components like tires, saddle, handlebar grips, footrests, gear knob and kick-start rubber were finished in bright red, which was unique and made for an awesome sight. The pressed steel frame construction made it possible to reduce the assembly time from circa 24 man hours to no more than 4 man hours. Other features were great accessibility of all parts and comfortable seating for the rider. Opel offered OHV and SV versions of the 500cc engine. Production lasted until 1930. which makes this Opel one of the last produced. This very exclusive machine is a good runner and has matching numbers. It is fitted with Bosch ignition and lighting, tank top speedometer, petrol level indicator in filler cap and centre stand. This Opel has been in a private collecting for many years and has not been cleaned. It starts and rides good. Worldwide transport possible.
