Original Civil War Period Austrian Lorenz Black Powder

Original Austrian Lorenz black powder rifle from the Civil War period. This weapon was completely gone over by a respected Gunsmith of period weapons. Barrel is solid, stock has been sanded, filled, stained & relaxed, all using period correct methods & products. Leather sling is new & correct for the early Lorenz. Caliber is .54 & barrel is rifled. An outstanding example of a true survivor rifle. Half cock on this weapon ( the period version of safe)....is barely above the nipple cone, which IS correct for the weapon, meaning it must be primed at full cock, as originals had to be. Weapon has been live fired 3 times, & is extremely accurate...a gorgeous display piece, conversation piece, AND fireable musket. From the Robert L White Gun collection.
