PAIR 19TH C POLISH OR PRUSSIAN SHABBAT CANDELABRAS
Pair of 19th Century 5-light Shabbat candlesticks, likely Polish, in cast bronze with openwork deer motifs etched with Hebrew inscriptions. A similar pair can found in the permanent collection at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, displayed in the Gothic Room. Apparently unsigned. Dimensions: H 18" x W 14.5" x D 9" Condition: Candelabras show wear consistent with age and use. White residue is present in details of candelabras most likely from previous cleaning with a chemical.
