PAIR 19TH C. SEVRES STYLE MOUNTED PORCELAIN URNS
A fabulous pair of porcelain urns, mounted as vases with ormolu bases, handles, and mouths and champleve enameled necks and feet. The hand painted scenes - signed "Rolli" - depict music lessons on the front and castle landscapes on the reverse. A revival of the ornate Louis XVI style, this pair dates to the late 1800s. Bronze bases are hallmarked and stamped "France" underneath. Dimensions: H 15.5" x W 4.25" x D 3.75" Condition: Wear consistent with age and use. Minor rubbing to enamel.
