PAIR FINELY CARVED CHINESE WOOD FIGURES. Comprising a skinny Lohan in a crouching position with teeth and glass eye (one missing). Together with an exceedingly well-carved figure of a Lohan with large staff and carrying beads, flowing robes and glass set eyes, on integral carved base. Greatest height 11 inches (28 cm).

Condition Report: The Lohan appears to be missing his right ivory and glass eye, otherwise just normal light handling wear consistent with age. Some shrinkage cracks to wood. The toes of the right foot of the standing Lohan were broken and reglued, and the separately carved base exhibits a small limb which was broken off and reglued as well. Additionally some small shrinkage cracks to wood on verso of figure.
