Pair of Japanese porcelain Satsuma vases, each having a dished rim with a gilt band above a trumpet neck covered in geometric designs, the body centering a circular reserve depicting a richly dressed couple, framed by variously shaped cartouches filled with birds, auspicious flowers, and insects, having no apparent marks.
Provenance: From a Private Collection, Atlanta, Georgia.
