Pair of 16" MAX and MORITZ character dolls. MAX is marked: K * R SIMON HALBIG 123. MORITZ is unmarked. MAX has stationary brown eyes, watermelon smile, black flax wig. He is dressed in newer white shirt, antique suede trimmed green wool felt lederhosen with matching hat. MORITZ has flirty blue sleep eyes, watermelon smile and red flax wig. He is dressed in newer beige shirt, suede cloth green lederhosen, red felt hat. Both dolls have papier mache jointed bodies with straight wrists and the molded shoes. Condition: nothing observed on bisque of either doll after careful examination. Paint on MORITZ eyelids is missing. Dolls come with box of misc. items inc. - newer clothing/accessories for these dolls and an outfit for a larger doll that matches MORITZ outfit. Many magazines featuring MAX and MORITZ.
