France, 2nd half 19th century. Pink marble, mahogany with oak secondary, marquetry scenes on ends and front depicting 18th century court scenes, drop-front exposes two dovetailed drawers with floral marquetryfronts, and interior of front with court scenes with floral border. Foliate and beaded ormolu mounts on corners, curved legs, and deeply curved ends, and apron. 34"h. 39.5"w. 23"d.
Condition Report: Overall splits to veneer, some bubbling and veneer loss (mainly to feet). Loss to 1” piece of top side molding on one. Splits along veneer lines are extensive with staining to cover some loss.
