PATEK PHILIPPE, INDEPENDENT DEAD SECONDS POCKET WATCH, PINK GOLD
Very fine and extremely rare open-face, keyless-winding, round-shaped pocket watch, hinged case back, with two horological complications. Dead independent seconds (exterior graduation with central hand activated by the rectangular push-piece located on the case band, at 1:15), safety bolt locking the dead seconds’ functions (slide at 1:50) and two mounting barrels in series with unidirectional-winding and « free » mainspring. Enamel dial with Roman numerals. Originally the case back was engraved in taille-douce with the cypher « E.R. ».
Très belle et extrêmement rare montre de poche à remontage au pendant en or rose 18k (750). Deux complications horlogères. Secondes mortes indépendantes et remontage unidirectionnel avec ressort « libre ». Cadran émail, chiffres romains. Le fond de boîte était à l’origine gravé en taille-douce avec le monogramme « E.R. ».
