Pepe Diniz (b. 1945) was born in Tangiers and has lived in Spain, Mozambique and South Africa before studying at the Geneva Institute of Photography in Switzerland. In 1975, he moved to New York and worked as a freelance photographer. He is internationally recognized for his images of cities and especially for the portraits of artists, writers, singers, photographers and other creators who at one time or another crossed paths.
