The authenticity of this work has been kindly confirmed by the artist
History of the work:
In 2010 the first onyx sculpture representing a face, the one depicted in oil on canvas belonging to a major American collector, was created. In 2013, Philippe Pasqua modified a unique lead piece to insert a skull. Faceoff had just hatched. A human version was created, then a solid silver version. It is only in 2016 that monumental and medium-size sculptures will appear for exhibition at the Oceanographic Museum.
