Condition Report:
Overall the condition of the pendant is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The brooch is made up of several elements. The upper right applique has moved out of position slightly and a small piece of wire has been lost connecting it to the matrix. This would benefit from professional conservation. The upper central rock crystal of the middle section of the pendant appears to have been refitted. A very small stone has been lost beneath this. A small stone has been lost at the top of the bottom section of the pendant. The rest of the stones appear to be in tact and not to have been refitted (though it is possible). There are natural inclusions to the rock crystals, and general wear to the edges. There is general wear to the metal consistent with age. The pin to the reverse is probably later. There may have been a small repair to the reverse of the upper section and there is minor tarnishing to the metal at the central roundel here (there is also a small probably original hole). There is a small probably original small hole to the reverse of the middle section.

Provenance:
Private collection, Spain
