Poul Henningsen (1894-1967) was a Danish architect and designer known for his innovative lighting designs. He collaborated with lighting company Louis Poulsen and created several iconic lamps during his career.
One of his most famous lamps is the PH 4/3 pendulum, which is also known as the "PH lamp". It was created in 1966 and is manufactured by Louis Poulsen. The PH 4/3 pendant is a ceiling lamp with a characteristic design consisting of several shades that are placed at different heights to provide even and diffuse lighting. By using reflection and shielding of the light source, the PH lamp creates a pleasant and glare-free light effect.
Louis Poulsen is a reputable Danish lighting company founded in 1874. The company is known for its high quality and innovative design.
