Matte black glass (pate de verre) earrings. Hallmarked and tested for sterling. We had our jeweler re-wire the outer teardrop with new sterling wire. We left the ear wires tarnished as we thought they looked better that way. This pair looks as if it has been hardly worn. A fabulous chic earring. Light and comfortable
