Pair of Art Deco open bedside tables in various essences and black opaline

Pair of Art Deco open bedside tables, veneered in precious woods, with black opaline top, dating back to the first half of the 20th century, restored and finished with shellac. The bedside tables have a wooden base in which a black glass (opal) is embedded, which form the top. Below the top there is a drawer on one side with a chromed metal handle attached, while on the side there is a void that forms the open compartment. Separated from the drawer by a fascia, there is a door veneered in precious woods, curved on the sides, which also has a chromed metal handle equal to that of the drawer. Opening the door you can find a large compartment divided into two compartments. The bedside tables end with grooved and ebonized rectangular feet which create a nice contrasting effect with the rest of the bedside table. Sides veneered in precious woods ending on a rectangular ebonized and grooved stem. The bedside tables are in excellent condition, slight signs of wear and age. ! ! Attention: the presence of some woodworm holes does not mean the presence of woodworms but the originality of the piece of furniture. Woodworm treatment done.
