ca. 1800, each with a medallion-form back cushion in a molded frame, joined to closed arms and terminating in scroll ends, bowed seat rail and fluted and stop-fluted tapering circular legs.

Condition Report: In good partially re-gilded and restored condition. Normal shrinkage and marks. Upholstery with wear, some stains to seat cushions. The loose seat cushions with down or feather filling. Chair "A" with one slightly loose front leg. May be a repaired break to a rear leg, masked by later gilt and gesso. Chair "B" retaining more antique gilt. Some light insect damage. All legs tight.
