Pair of Blue Double Handled Vases, 18th Century
A pair of Chinese blue-glazed hexagonal vases dating from the 18th century. They have double handles framing their necks. The vases feature gold decoration including landscapes with figures, flowers, and Shou medallions.
Dimensions are: 16 inches tall X 8 1/4 inches wide, 40.6 cm X 21 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: One vase has a significant repair to the neck and handles. Both have wear to the gold and significant areas of overpainting.
Provenance: From a private Boston, Massachusetts collection.
