Pair of Caryatids Candlesticks - Empire Style - Bronze Ormolu and Marble - Circa 1900

An outstanding pair of 19th century French second empire ormolu candlesticks completed in the Imperial Russian manner. The main stems are of Caryatid form with three branches to house three candles and stand firmly on square Italian marble bases with for zoomorphic style paw legs. Both marble bases are mounted with ormolu motifs. Very good overall condition. One of the bases has a small line running through it, please see the pictures.
