**First Time At Auction**

Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, Chimu culture, ca. 700 to 1470 CE. A duo of colorful textile fragments comprised of tightly-woven fibers in hues of green, brown, blue, red, gold, brown, white, and black. A rectangular, umber-hued panel made from camelid hairs displays three distinct scenes of an abstract anthropomorphic figure standing amidst a sea of undulating patterns and multi-colored spots. Second is a beautifully-colored bag portion woven from natural fibers.
