Pair of Chinese Framed Famille Rose Plaques, Republic
A pair of Chinese famille rose porcelain plaques dating from the Republic period. Both plaques are framed. One plaque depicts a pair of cranes in a pine tree, and the other plaque depicts a pair of pheasants on a flowering branch.
Dimensions are: 32 inches tall X 8 1/4 inches wide, 81.3 cm X 21 cm, while the frame measures 41 1/2 inches tall X 18 inches wide, 105.4 cm X 45.7 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Both plaques are in overall good condition. One frame is separating at the seams with areas of breakage and repair.
Provenance: From a Palm Beach, Florida estate.
