Pair of KPM Lidded Urns, 19th Century
Overall creamy white ground with scene on each of a romantic couple, verso is of a floral bouquet. Round base with repetitive motifs around the sides, gilt highlights throughout, lower portion of the urn are scrolling serpents on a pastel yellow ground above acanthus leaves. Rims in repeating pattern, gilt around the rim. Leaves on the top around the bronze flame finial. Each piece marked appropriately to the underside along with "144/1B" and impressed "FN2"; the other vase with proper KPM marks and an impressed "2".
Condition: Lid finials not original, otherwise very good.
