Pair of Medici vases - Empire Style - Bronze (gilt), Bronze (patinated) - 19th century

Pair of gilded and patinated bronze Empire Medici vases. This pair of vases is made of bronze with a two-tone patina: black patinated and fire-gilded (mercury gilding) . They are 29 cm high and the diameter of the (removable) gold-plated upper edge is 12 cm. The vases are in a very nice condition, the gilding is completely original and in a very good condition. Take a good look at the photos; they are part of the lot description. Please note: the orchids are only for example purposes. The Medici vases are sold without the orchids.
