Pair of Monumental Bronze Figural Chenets. Large cherubs stand above an egg and dart 3 sided platform with a center section having winged devil figures on each corner with a maiden's head between them. The base has winged cherubs leaning on scrollwork, holding a draping fabric coming out of a lion's head in the center, below is an open section with a cartouche shield and shell design. In good condition with an excellent dark brown patina. Dimensions: 41 in. high x 23 in. wide x 16 in. deep.
