Pair of Vintage Copeland Parian Ware Porcelain Busts of Women. This lot features the busts of "Summer" and "Love". (1). Summer- a beautiful maiden with long flowing hair marked Pub April 1870, along with the name SUMMER, Copeland and Malempre, S.C. The bust measures 11.5" tall x 7" wide. (2). Love, by Raffaelle Monti (signed stamped on back), dated 1871. Ceramic and Crystal Palace Art Union also stamed on back of the statue. The girl is facing left with her hair flowing over one shoulder and rose spray tied across the bodice of her dress. The bust measures 12.5" tall x 7" wide. The combined weight of both pieces is 8.5 lbs. No damage, cracks or repairs to either piece normal age wear marks to the porcelain. Please refer to all photos. Overall in very good condition.
