Pair of finely painted Chinese egg scale porcelain dishes decorated with light green and light purple dragons flying in the sky. The dishes are made of a very thin and fine quality egg scale porcelain and the quality of painting is very good. One dish of the pair has a restored piece in it, one dish with hairline crack Diameter 18 cm, high 4,5 cm. Provenance: The Dutch de Vries family from Scheveningen, the Netherlands, who emigrated in 1948 to Pretoria, South Africa.
