Case
Cushion shaped stainless steel case patented large crown guard. 44mm
Screw back with engraved Sylvester Stallone autograph
Dial
White dial with blue painted indexes and small luminous hour dots and luminous hands.
Features
Sylvester Stallone felt in love with Panerai’s 1995 while filming "Daylight" in Rome after seeing one in a shop window and ended up wearing one on-screen.
Stallone asked the company to produce a limited edition of 200 watches (dubbed the "Slytech") with his signature engraved on the back. The initial intended total production of 200 watches was never reached, while instead just around 100 watches were made.
The dial was designed to have blue numerals and hands. Just after the very first examples were sold the dial layout was changed with black painted indexes making the blue ones extremely rare, only a handful is known to be produced. The watch is offered in wonderful condition with the original full set of wooden boxes, outer box, an additional signed leather strap and buckle and Panerai certificate and booklet. Case, dial, movement and factory strap with buckle signed.
