MVT: is running at the time of cataloguing and the date advancing.
CASE: in good condition. There are small scratches and fine dings on the bands. There are light oxidation signs on the case back. The bracelet is in good condition.
DIAL: in attractive and good condition. Most likely service dial.
Catalogue Note:
The Ref. 3605 was launched in 1971 and was the first Golden Ellipse to bear the automatic Cal 28-255C, the same movement used later in the Nautilus Ref. 3700.
By size, it remains the largest vintage Golden Ellipse watch and also one of the rare Golden Ellipse references to bear a date function.
In total around 1,200 Ref. 3605 were made in white and yellow gold, delivered on leather strap or one of the at least four different gold bracelets than have been seen.
The reference was discontinued in the early 1980s different.
The current watch comes directly from a service and therefore is in very good condition. A unique chance to add a rare piece to your watch collection.
