Hand-knotted hallway rug in wool. Red and black field with geometric decorations in various colors. They are rugs knotted by Kurdish nomads from western Iran. Nomads, now sedentary, formerly moved along the borders with Iraq and Turkey. The motifs of these carpets are usually mina-khani, herati, rhombuses and medallions. The colors are mostly dark, on a blue or burgundy
