Rectangular form with multi-color glaze including azure blue, emerald green, puce, and white and portrays a Religious scene, showing a woman (possibly Shirin, the Christian wife of Khosrow II), wearing a cross pendant around her neck, administering the Eucharist to an elderly man who is kneeling before her, with attendants surrounding them. Qajar Dynasty, 1789-1925. Crazing, some nicks/chips around the edges, small firing crack at the lower margin. 17 x 14" high. ESTIMATE $2,000-4,000
